Great to read more about it, I love how you came about doing it. There are people like that in life, who kind of steer you towards what is possible, open doors you didn't think were open to you. I'm glad you met her and that you did your jump.
You mentioned, I think in a note, that you told your mum you might look to get your license. Do you think if you did more, regular jumps it would take the shine off the first? Like you'd eventually get used to it and the buzz wouldn't last?
Hey Mark! You make a good point here. That point was Lesson 1 because it was the biggest one for me with the experience! Regarding your second point, it made me think...
It might do, I think doing things once and never doing them again is also a good approach to not spoil experiences. To be honest, I said I would get my license half-jokingly, but I definitely would like to try it again. I don't think it would take the shine off the first, I think I would enjoy it more because I wouldn't be as scared to do it.
However, I did speak to my friend who I jumped with and she said something interesting.
She told me she wishes she had been scared like me because she would have liked to feel what it's like to go through the fear. I am actually quite glad I'm scared of things, it's a challenge to myself to try and overcome them.
Oh that's a killer point that she made. I'm not even sure what to think about that but it definitely adds to the challenge.
I've just scheduled a post for a week or two that has been inspired by our conversation, I can't be bothered to edit it as I've already recorded the narration but this would have been an interesting point to have considered.
I've tagged you and this post in it so you should see it when it lands, it might give you some perspective as to what you have to look forward to as you age 🤣
Hey Yannis! Exactly right, I did it because I wanted to release energy in a way that helps me see the new possibilities. Just a mental barrier to push through, you should do it too I am sure you will love it!
Thanks for sharing these lessons. The lesson I liked the most was mental vs physical barriers. It's really a part of us stopping us, nothing else. Cheers to courage.
Hey Yolanda! You're always showing up, thank you so much for your support. I am very glad I did it too! Have you ever done it? I will definitely keep you posted and I will continue to post my ideas and try my best to inspire readers 😊
I’m proud of you too. Not everyone has the bravery to face their fears. Well done! You’re stronger now.
I am definitely stronger Sarah, thanks for being proud of me too, that means a lot!

Awesone, thanks Mark I will check it out when I see it!
That's Big, Stefano.
Conquering fears releases energy.
I'm sure now you have more energy to do scary things.
I'm proud of you 👏👏

Its a great feeling to be free of your fear. If I get the chance I will do it.

Ye, the mind leads and the body follows. It’s why mental health and focusing on what is going on internally is so important.
Good job, well done! 👏👏👏
Btw, where did you went for the skidiving?🤔
Hey Janet! I did it in Siquijor in the Philippines.
Oh, thank you for the info. I’ll probably have to check with my sis-in-law (she is from the Philippines) about it. 🙏😊
Stefano, this was a brilliant and valiant move! I'm so glad you did it. Your encouragement is contagious. Thank you, and keep me posted. 💖🌹
